Maslow Media Group is seeking a NOC Technician to support our client, a global leader in live broadcast and media production services. This role is onsite in Dallas, TX
. This role sits at the center of live operations, ensuring mission‑critical video, audio, and data signals are monitored, maintained, and delivered flawlessly across broadcast and IP‑based workflows. You’ll play a key role in supporting live sports, remote productions (REMI), and large‑scale event broadcasts where precision and speed are everything.
- Monitor live broadcast feeds across video, audio, and IP networks using multiviewers and monitoring systems
- Track signal integrity (latency, packet loss, bitrate, sync) across multiple simultaneous events
- Maintain situational awareness in a 24/7 NOC environment
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues such as signal loss, audio dropouts, encoding failures, and network disruptions
- Execute failover and redundancy protocols to ensure uninterrupted broadcast delivery
- Escalate complex issues to engineering teams with clear, actionable detail
- Manage signal paths across fiber, satellite, and IP‑based transport workflows
- Route feeds between control rooms, mobile units, broadcast partners, and streaming platforms
- Serve as the central communication hub between field engineers, production teams, and clients
- Provide real‑time updates during live events and high‑pressure scenarios
- Strong working knowledge of Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers standards
- Experience with frame rates, formats, timecode, and signal synchronization
- Exposure to SMPTE 2110 workflows (IP‑based video transport) preferred
- Understanding of IP networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, QoS)
- Familiarity with protocols such as SRT, RTP, RTMP, MPEG‑TS
- Experience with PTP (Precision Time Protocol) is a plus
- Multiviewers, waveform monitors, vectorscopes
- Network monitoring tools (SNMP, dashboards)
- Encoding/decoding and transmission systems
- 2–5+ years of experience in broadcast operations, NOC, or live production environments
- Experience supporting live television, sports, or event broadcasts
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills under pressure
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Willingness to work non‑traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays)

Salary Range: $75k - $90k. We are committed to equitable and market‑aligned compensation practices. The salary range represents the good‑faith compensation band for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant education, professional experience, demonstrated competencies, technical expertise, certifications, scope of responsibility, geographic considerations, applicable regulatory requirements, and overall business needs.
