Summary:
Hands-on technical leader responsible for DHA’s servers, networks, Microsoft 365, cloud identity, cybersecurity tools, and data protection. Leads the Infrastructure & Security team and ensures reliable, secure, and high-performing IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Windows Server, AD/Entra , virtualization, storage, and backups (Unitrends).Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services and support endpoint/Intune roadmap.
Support network operations (routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewalls).Lead vulnerability management, Defender security operations, and incident response.
Support UCaaS operations and future migration to a unified enterprise telephony platform.
Provide on-call support and occasional site travel.
Knowledge and
Skills:
Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra , Group Policy, certificates/PKI, and Microsoft 365 administration.
Server virtualization, storage, backup/restore (Unitrends), and disaster recovery principles.
Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi) and firewall concepts.
Security operations, including endpoint protection (Defender), logging, identity security, and vulnerability management.
IT operational best practices, documentation standards, and system change processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
7+ years infrastructure experience; 3+ years leadership.
Certification in one track required:
Systems (AZ-104/MS-102), Network (Network+/CCNA), or Security (Security+/CySA+/CISSP).
