Network Deployment Planner - Amazon Data Center Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. You will join a diverse team across multiple disciplines to help deliver safe and secure infrastructure while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost.

• Ensure adherence to timelines.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes with an eye on improvement.
• Work closely with Install/Deployment Technicians, Supply Chain & Procurement, Network Engineers, and Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth delivery of on-demand customer capacity.
• Knowledge of network cabling and optic types.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Familiarity with common networking terms.
• Excellent judgment and analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks based on fluctuating needs; strong prioritization and time management ability.
• Coordination of design, project timeline/schedule, and construction milestones.
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management. Must be well organized and able to work effectively under time pressure.

• Experience in project management.
• 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.

• 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.

USA, TX, Dallas – $76,900.00 – $ annually; USA, VA, Herndon – $76,900.00 – $ annually; USA, WA, Seattle – $80,200.00 – $ annually.
