AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud‑based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. The role involves shaping and executing strategies to build mindshare and broad use of AWS within enterprise customers.

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Formulate and execute a strategy as part of the account management team.
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to customers.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
