Suntex Marinas is a company that invests exclusively in niche mixed-use marinas and their related operating platforms. We have acquired, developed, and operated over 100 full-service marinas which include retail spaces, office buildings, resorts, hotels, and restaurants.
The Marketing Specialist – Web Optimization and Data Analysis supports website performance, operations, conversion tracking, analytics, and digital performance across a national portfolio of marina, boating, hospitality, and lifestyle brands. This role works closely with the Director of Digital to maintain and optimize a large portfolio of websites, landing pages, marketing technologies, and reporting systems that support lead generation, bookings, and customer engagement across the portfolio.
Success in this role requires technical capabilities and is an individual who has both analytical and detail-oriented skillsets as well as comfortability operating across websites, analytical platforms, conversion tracking systems, and digital tools in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands‑on digital operations role that blends website analysis, technical marketing, and performance optimization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Website Optimization
- Implement ongoing website updates, optimization, and maintenance across Word Press websites
- Build, update, and optimize landing pages
- Maintain website content, forms, and overall site functionality across multiple brands
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to website
- Support UX/UI improvements and conversion-focused optimization initiatives across websites and landing pages
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Google Tag Manager (GTM) across multiple properties and digital experiences
- Deploy, validate, and troubleshoot tracking scripts for Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and other analytics platforms
- Monitor conversion tracking accuracy
- Assist with the implementation of conversion events
- Support troubleshooting of marketing technology integrations
- Analyze website, landing page, and campaign performance using tools such as GA4
- Identify behavioral trends, and optimization opportunities across digital experiences
- Maintain accurate reporting and clean performance data across marketing platforms
- Support the development of recurring reporting dashboards
- Assist with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Support the implementation of on-page SEO improvements
- Assist with the optimization of local listings Google Business Profile and Yext
- Help maintain accurate business information, across digital platforms
- Assist with campaign QA, landing page alignment, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to support digital campaign execution and reporting initiatives
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Analytics, Information Systems, or another related field
- Must have at least two to five (2-5)+ years of experience in digital marketing, web optimization, marketing analytics, or a related role
- Must have hands-on experience working within Word Press environment
- Must have experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and digital marketing platforms
- Must have an understanding of website structure, landing pages, user experience, and conversion-focused optimization
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot website issues, tracking discrepancies, and digital performance problems independently
- Must have strong analytical and reporting skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Must be able to complete a background check deemed acceptable by the Company
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- A working understanding of SEO fundamentals is preferred
- Familiarity with Hub Spot or marketing automation platforms is preferred
- Google Ads certification is preferred
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
- This individual is located in an office environment, generally seated at a desk with a chair for extended periods of time
- Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal floatation device when visiting marina site locations
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements, and squeezing and overhead reaching occasionally
