EDiscovery Technical Advisor; Top Secret Clearance Required Security Clearance

Position: eDiscovery Technical Advisor (Full‑time, Executive‑Level) – Department:
Legal

CGS seeks an experienced eDiscovery Technical Advisor to support legal accounts, including civil and criminal litigation, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries. The role involves identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing Electronic Stored Information (ESI) and working with the litigation team to develop discovery plans, manage electronic discovery applications (Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, Legal Hold Management Tool, Veritas eDiscovery Platform), and provide training and technical assistance to users.

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil and criminal litigation, FOIA, and congressional requests.
• Provide expertise in criminal discovery support.
• Serve as technical user of Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, and Veritas eDiscovery Platform.
• Work with litigation team to develop discovery plans documenting search parameters.
• Use electronic discovery software to collect data from FBI IT systems (e.g., MS‑Exchange, shared drives, desktops, text and instant messages) in accordance with the discovery plan.
• Analyze search/collection results for data gaps.
• Administer data inputs into an electronic discovery review platform (e.g., eDP), including creating cases, adding collected source data, managing user access, uploading logs, de‑duplicating data, identifying gaps, merging and verifying data, and ensuring production quality.
• Coordinate collection results with FBI units responsible for processing discovery for review, redaction, and release.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for using electronic discovery software and provide training and support to attorneys, paralegals, and other users.
• Provide instructions on the FBI process for identifying, preserving, collecting, analyzing, and organizing ESI.
• Assist end users with the discovery review platform repository.
• Document discovery plans and procedures for each case.
• Facilitate legal hold implementation, amendment, and lift requests via LHMT.
• Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases.

• Five (5) years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience focused on client solutions.
• Three (3) years of progressive responsibility on major litigation support projects.
• Two (2) years of experience in Relativity beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Experience with eDiscovery services covering all realms of the EDRM.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).

Salary: $137,200 – $186,200 per year.
