Required skills:
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Playwright, modern test automation frameworks, and end-to-end quality engineering practices.
The role requires strong hands-on coding ability, excellent analytical thinking, and the ability to influence automation best practices organization wide.
The candidate must possess strong knowledge of UI, API, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience with JavaScript/Type Script, test framework architecture, and automation design patterns is essential.
Experience integrating Playwright with tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Docker, and reporting frameworks is highly preferred.
Knowledge of performance testing, API automation, test data management, and cloud-based test execution platforms will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities, ownership mindset, logical reasoning skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in software quality engineering.
Nice to have skills:
Experience working in Utility industry is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field with significant experience in enterprise automation testing environments preferred.

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lead - Playwright to drive enterprise-scale test automation initiatives and lead QA automation strategy across complex applications. You will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across web platforms.
You should have proven experience implementing and scaling Playwright automation in enterprise environments with CI/CD integration. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, Dev Ops teams, and business stakeholders to ensure release quality and testing efficiency.
The role demands excellent debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced Agile environments.
