Job Summary
The Epic Analyst - Cogito Principal Trainer’s primary responsibility is to configure and provide functional and technical help for specific applications to business and clinical users. Part of the responsibility is to partner with end users to interpret the workflow and its interdependencies, make corrective adjustments or enhancements as needed, and serve as the central point of communication for various users while coordinating all IS organization activities.
The role also includes assisting with testing, recommending corrective actions, resolving software application problems, and supporting normal maintenance of upgrades and system maintenance.
The Role
- Provide testing and documentation of workflows, data collections, and end-user report details; address other technical issues with applications, considering both vendor and internal stakeholder needs.
- Create, modify, and track system builds in a timely and effective manner.
- Create and execute test scripts for new system builds.
- Implement system updates and changes, and communicate those changes to super users and end users.
- Provide ongoing application help and end‑user training for all supported applications.
- Engage, manage, and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Solve problems by studying business issues/requirements, workflows, and synthesizing key messages.
- Assist in coordinating training materials and schedules for all super users and end users.
- Serve as liaison between end users, subject matter experts, and vendor implementation teams.
- Interpret end user workflows and understand inputs and outputs from both the user and patient perspectives.
- Have expertise in end-user workflow and ownership of the technical components of that workflow.
- Work well in team environments and facilitate integrated meetings.
- Be proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, workflow tools, and email software applications at an intermediate level.
- Demonstrate customer-oriented service excellence values.
- Be self‑motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issues, and advance personal knowledge.
- Execute complex tasks through organization and a detail-oriented approach.
- Demonstrate excellent relational communication skills among facility customers and team members.
- Be a quick learner of software and information technology.
- Produce accurate, thorough, and complete documentation.
- Have Epic application knowledge to build, test, help, and train.

Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification. - Experience:
2 years of relevant experience.
Epic Certification (EPICCERT):
Must have EPICACRD or EPICCERT.
