Job Summary:
As an IT Field Technician with Smart Source, your primary responsibility will be providing “top-notch” customer service with a strong focus on tradeshow and corporate meeting environments. Duties include product configuration, prep and testing, transportation of equipment, on-site installation of audio visual and computer technology, networking, troubleshooting and technical support.
Responsibilities:
- In-shop configuration, preparation and testing, transport for on-site installation, customer service, and troubleshooting of our computers, software, and related peripherals in tradeshow and corporate events environments.
- In-shop configuration, preparation and testing, transport for on-site set up and operation of Audio and Video equipment including microphones, speakers, mixing consoles, video screens, projectors, video switchers, large displays and related peripherals in tradeshow and corporate events environments.
Qualifications:
- Strong IT background with expertise in configuring, networking, and troubleshooting computers, printers, and related hardware.
* Copier repair experience is a plus.* - The ideal candidate will also be proficient at setting up and operating basic audio-visual components, be able to troubleshoot and correct operational glitches.
- Must have experience with “live events” – trade shows, corporate meetings, and conferences.
