About You
As the Senior Manager of Business Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven culture. This position involves not only managing and interpreting large sets of data but also applying advanced analytical methods, including statistical analysis and regression models, to uncover trends and insights. Your work will directly influence strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. The role demands a balance of technical data science skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in an accessible manner to stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
* Lead comprehensive data analysis projects, employing techniques such as regression analysis, predictive modeling, and other statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and causal relationships.
* Design and conduct complex data studies and experiments, interpreting results to provide actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
* Ensure the effective utilization of Power
BI for advanced data analytics, including the integration of statistical tools and methodologies.
* Develop and refine metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives, using advanced data analysis to validate and adjust these metrics as needed.
* Facilitate the extraction and manipulation of large and complex datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data sources.
* Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data collection procedures and improve the quality of analytics.
* Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, providing training and guidance on data analysis and interpretation to team members and other departments.
* Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics and business intelligence, continuously exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance our analytical capabilities.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Analytics, Advanced Physics, STEM or Business related Major, or equivalent experience required.
* 3+ years of experience in hands-on data analytics, including model building and statistical analysis.
* 3+ years of experience in automating reporting and analysis through various BI tools like Power BI and/or Tableau and Power Automate.
* 3+ years of experience using Excel and SQL at an advanced level.
* Experience with transforming and cleaning data with R or Python preferred.
* Experience with MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and implementing new databases preferred.
