OverviewWeareseekinga Network Administrator withstronghands-onexperiencein networkadministration combined with desktop support/end-user support .Thisrolewillberesponsibleformaintainingandimprovingtheorganization’snetworkandcoreinfrastructure,whilealsoprovidinghigh-qualitytechnicalsupporttointernalusers.
Theidealcandidateiscomfortabletroubleshootingacrossthestack—from
WAN/VPNandcloudnetworking(including Cato Cloud )tovirtualization(
VMware )andendpointissues.
- Administer,monitor,and troubleshoot
LAN/WAN,routing,switching,VPN,DNS/DHCP,andWi-Fienvironments. - Supportandmanage Cato Cloud (e.g.,connectivity,policies,security controls,troubleshooting,user/siteonboarding).
- Maintainnetworksecuritybestpractices(patching,access control,segmentation,andincidentresponsesupport).
- Partnerwithinternalteamsandvendors/ISPstoresolveconnectivityandperformanceissues.
- Documentnetworktopology,configurations,standards,andrunbooks.
- Support VMware environments(e.g.,ESXi/vCenteroperations,VMprovisioning,performance monitoring,backupscoordination).
- Assistwithgeneralinfrastructuretasks(servers,storage,backups,endpointmanagementasapplicable).
- Participateinmaintenancewindows,upgrades,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
- Provide
Tier2/3desktopsupportfor
Windows/macOSendpointsandcommonproductivitytools. - Troubleshoothardware/software issues,useraccess,printers,and conferencing/meeting-roomtechasneeded.
- Manageonboarding/offboardingtechnicaltasks(accounts,devices,access,securitybaselines).
- Maintainstrongcustomerservice,clear communication,andtimelyticketupdates.
- Solid experiencecombining networkadministration and desktop/end-user support .
- Hands-onexperiencewith VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) and Cato Cloud
- Experienceworkingwithticketingsystems,documentation,andITIL-stylepractices.
- Generalinfrastructure/networkingcertifications(preferred)
