Overview
The Infrastructure and Telecommunications Manager is responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to execute on store related technology projects related to new and existing stores.
Responsibilities- Provisioning internet and telephone services for new & existing locations.
- Configure call center services.
- Ordering equipment for NSO - Including POS hardware, Custom Channels, VoIP phones and Network Hardware to support primary internet and wireless back-up.
- Coordinate the progress of the NSO infrastructure with Construction and, as needed, e.g., change management requirements, with internal stakeholders
- Manage the low voltage, POS and audio installations for new store openings.
- Inventory and map out locations of payment devices to ensure PCI compliance requirements.
- Work with Finance and the payment processor to research and correct any issues related to transaction processing due to device location.
- Technical assistance with any projects related to changes to the Call Center and its operations.
- Update documentation to reflect new carriers and service levels.
- Maintain documentation used in support of this position, and by the IT Team, to support NSOs and operational stores as needed.
- Assist with review and approval of orders and invoices.
- Contribute to Change Management with requests and to support initiatives effecting store planning – both construction and design.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope.
- Ability to build, maintain, and operate IT projects, including strategic planning, stakeholder management, process, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues.
- Experience using Project Management software such as Smartsheet.
- Experience with MS Office
- PMP Certification or any related industry certifications
Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects.
Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
