SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to support technical development and maintenance activities across various SAP modules.

The role involves analyzing work requests, developing custom applications, and ensuring high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze work requests and collaborate with business analysts to estimate and prepare work orders.
• Develop SAP applications of varying complexity, adhering to coding standards and specifications.
• Participate in all lifecycle stages including design, documentation, coding, code reviews, testing, and UAT support.
• Provide weekly status reports and maintain request tracking documentation.
• Monitor and assess the quality of deliverables and meet performance targets.
• Develop reports, custom SAP GUI transactions, forms, interfaces, web services, workflows, IDOCs, and Webdynpro applications.
• Work across functional areas such as SD, LE, MM, IM/WM, PM, PP, FI, and HR.
• Research and apply OSS notes relevant to enhancement pack releases.
• Conduct unit testing and document outcomes; fix bugs identified during testing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implement feedback from business analysts.
• Plan and execute go-live activities and provide post-production support.
• Follow internal quality processes and documentation standards for all enhancements and developments.

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development across multiple functional modules.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining SAP GUI transactions, Webdynpro applications, and integration components.
• Experience in unit testing, UAT support, and post-production activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SAP enhancement pack releases and OSS note implementation.
• Experience with structured documentation and quality assurance processes.
