Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid ( 3 days onsite)

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy LLM‑powered applications natively on Snowflake, leveraging Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, Agents, and Snowflake Native Apps. AI Engineer will work at the intersection of data engineering, applied AI, and product engineering, building production‑grade AI systems that power analytics, automation, and intelligent decision‑making. This role focuses on data‑centric AI, enabling secure, governed, and scalable AI solutions directly were enterprise data lives inside Snowflake.

• Strong experience with Snowflake as a primary data and AI platform.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake Cortex (LLMs, embeddings, RAG).
• Experience building LLM‑based applications in production.
• Proficiency in Python
  , especially for AI and data workloads.
• Experience with Snowpark (Python).

• Solid understanding of:
• Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vector databases and similarity search
• Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise data systems.
• Familiarity with model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and AI safety.

• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data

• Understanding of cloud‑native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Design and implement AI/ML solutions using Snowflake Cortex (LLM functions, embeddings, classification, summarization, RAG).
• Build LLM‑powered applications using Cortex LLMs and externally hosted models integrated with Snowflake.
• Develop semantic layers and AI‑ready datasets optimized for Snowflake Intelligence experiences.
• Implement vector search and RAG pipelines using Snowflake’s vector capabilities.

• Design and build Snowflake Intelligence use cases (conversational analytics, AI copilots, business insights).
• Develop autonomous and semi‑autonomous agents.

• Reason over structured and unstructured data.
• Execute workflows and actions securely.
• Orchestrate multi-agent workflows using Snowflake + external services where needed.

• Tool/function calling.
• Model evaluation and guardrails.
• Optimize LLM performance for cost, latency, and accuracy.
• Implement governance, monitoring, and observability for GenAI workloads.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design AI‑optimized Snowflake schemas.
• Build pipelines using Snowpark (Python) for data transformation and feature preparation.
• Package AI solutions as Snowflake Native Apps where applicable.
• Ensure enterprise‑grade security, compliance, and auditability.
• Partner with stakeholders across data, product, and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Pay Range Minimum: $92,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $224,000 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
