Field Support Technician

What You'll Do

• Image and configure desktop and laptop computers using standard deployment tools and processes
• Install operating systems, software applications, updates, and security patches
• Verify system functionality and perform quality assurance testing before deployment
• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during the imaging process
• Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware and equipment
• Label, package, and prepare devices for deployment to end users
• Assist with hardware upgrades, replacements, and equipment refresh projects
• Follow established procedures to ensure consistency and security standards are met
• Document completed work and update tracking systems as required

• Experience imaging, configuring, or deploying computers in a corporate or technical environment
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
• Familiarity with imaging tools such as SCCM, MDT, Intune, Autopilot, or similar technologies is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

• Previous IT support, desktop support, deployment, or field technician experience
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge
• Experience working in a high-volume deployment or staging environment
