We're working with a global investment management firm seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Technical Lead to take ownership of a critical procurement technology ecosystem supporting teams across the business.
This is far more than a support role.
You'll lead a team of seven, drive major transformation initiatives, own the technical direction of the SAP Ariba landscape, and act as the go-to expert across procurement, supplier management, invoicing, contracts, and finance-related processes.

What You'll Do- Lead the design, delivery and optimisation of SAP Ariba solutions across the business
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture for the Ariba platform
- Drive complex integrations between SAP Ariba, SAP S/4
HANA and wider enterprise systems - Champion cloud integration initiatives, with a particular focus on SAP CIG
- Partner with procurement, finance and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Support key corporate finance and tax-related processes
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of seven SAP professionals
- Act as the senior technical authority for all things SAP Ariba
- 5+ years' SAP Ariba experience within complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise across Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts and Supplier Management
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end implementations, integrations and enhancements
- Deep understanding of SAP Ariba architecture and best practices
- Hands-on expertise with SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
- Knowledge of procurement, invoicing, finance and tax processes
- A balance of technical and functional capability
- Previous leadership, mentoring or team management experience
- Own a globally critical SAP platform
- Lead a high-performing team of seven
- Influence technology strategy and architecture decisions
- Work in a highly visible role with senior stakeholder exposure
- Combine hands-on delivery with leadership and innovation
