Description
As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Principal Solutions Architect within the Strategic Accounts segment, you will partner with customers to design cloud architectures using AWS services, solve business challenges, and influence product direction. You will identify patterns and trends that accelerate innovation across sectors, lead technology discussions, and articulate the business value of AWS to executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with customers to design cloud architectural solutions using AWS services.
- Help customers solve business challenges such as rapid market release and building scalable, cost‑optimized applications.
- Engage product owners to influence product direction and explore new markets with AWS services.
- Identify and disseminate patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across industry segments.
- Build and execute strategies to increase AWS adoption and knowledge across customers.
- Collaborate with AWS services teams, marketing, and professional services and represent the team to executive management.
- Lead in‑depth technology discussions and articulate business value to Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs.
- 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end‑to‑end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including at C‑level, with training, workshops, and publications.
- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent.
- Knowledge of large‑scale automation and workflow management or equivalent.
- Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent.
- Strong presentation and whiteboarding skills with comfort speaking to internal and external executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
