ServiceNow Solution Architect; CSA

A leading IT Consultancy is seeking an experienced Service Now Architect to join a major transformation programme for a leading automotive finance provider. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a complex Service Now environment, influence platform strategy, and lead enterprise-scale implementations within a highly visible and business-critical organisation.

As the Service Now Architect, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the overall Service Now architecture, driving best practices, and ensuring the platform supports both current and future business objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across the Service Now platform.

• Lead end-to-end Service Now implementations and transformation initiatives.
• Define platform architecture, governance, and development standards.
• Design and govern CMDB strategies aligned to CSDM best practices.
• Architect and deliver ITSM and ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
• Drive integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and Service Graph Connectors.
• Integrate enterprise monitoring and cloud platforms including Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Lead platform upgrades, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Service Now teams.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into strategic solutions.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of overall IT experience, including specialising in Service Now, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-scale implementations and transformation programmes.

You will possess deep expertise across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB design and governance (CSDM), Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Discovery, alongside strong knowledge of platform governance, development standards, security controls, and compliance requirements.

A strong background in enterprise integrations is essential, including experience with REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, Service Graph Connectors, and integrating technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS, Azure, and Active Directory. Exposure to AIOps, Virtual Agent/GenAI capabilities, GRC/IRM, and HRSD would be highly advantageous.

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
