Do you have a knack for helping groups understand application architectures and integration approaches, and the consultative and leadership skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success?

As a Senior Solutions Architect within the AWS WWPS Partner team, you will help shape and deliver a strategy to build broad use of AWS services—including IoT, high-performance computing (HPC), advanced analytics, and AI/ML—directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting and technology partners. You will serve as a dedicated technical resource for a high-growth autonomous maritime defense partner, leading strategic engagement at the executive level with minimal oversight.

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for a rapidly scaling defense-sector partner with significant infrastructure investment
• Own end-to-end solution architecture spanning compute, data, ML, and supply chain operational tooling
• Operate as a trusted advisor at the executive level, translating business objectives into AWS-native architectures
• Provide thought leadership and capture best‑practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Collaborate with world‑class sales and business development teams to drive partner success

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen. This position may require up to 30% travel.

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience with IoT, HPC, AI/ML workloads, data engineering pipelines, and operational tooling on AWS
• U.S. Navy Operations or Logistics background, or equivalent military experience in mission‑critical systems
• Hands‑on experience managing complex multi‑node supply chains with zero tolerance for failure
