Job Title: Senior Business Analysts

Job Duties: Thought Focus, Inc. seeks Senior Business Analysts in Dallas, TX to lead requirements gathering, conduct workshops, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges. Perform functional analysis for new projects independently and document functional/system requirements and solution designs. Analyze and map out business processes. Identify opportunities for business improvements and automation. Provide system integration, data management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Lead feature development from inception through release and provide support for creating project charters. Draft and socialize story maps detailing technical specifications. Perform data analysis and modeling. Refine requirements; UAT and crafting application roll-out strategies to ensure seamless releases. Operate across multiple projects simultaneously to address customer issues and solicit functional requirements from various business stakeholders. Apply knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban frameworks and techniques.

Mentor others in the application of Agile and Scrum. Utilize corporate objectives and priorities to ensure teams are working on the right piece of work. Analyze and resolve impediments that are strategic, organizational or technical in nature. Provide software development lifecycle and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed company policies, procedures, and standards. Facilitate meetings, manage and guide conversations with differing opinions, and communicate clearly and effectively with a variety of audiences.

May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. May telecommute 2-3 days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related field plus 5 progressive years of business analysis experience in:
1) Agile Waterfall, and Scrum/Product Owner (CSM/CSPO);
2) SQL, Excel, and Power BI data analysis tools;
3) JIRA, Confluence, Lucid/BPMS, Sharepoint, VISIO, MS Project, MS office suite; and
4) Banking and Fin Tech domains;
5) Leading requirements gathering, conducting workshops and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges;
6) Analyzing and mapping out business processes;
7) Identifying opportunities for business improvements and automation;
8) Data Analysis and Modeling, refining requirements, providing UAT and crafting application roll-out strategies;
9) Delivering written and oral presentations to business users, clients and senior leadership.
