We are seeking a highly motivated Data Center Field Operations Specialist to oversee the day-to-day operational management and field supervision of multiple data centers across the U.S. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of our facilities by supervising on-site teams, optimizing operations, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols and oversee the operational management of multiple data center sites.
- Supervise and support on-site teams in server deployment, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and achievement of operational KPIs.
- Inspect and audit the implementation of daily maintenance procedures for facilities and equipment; promptly identify and communicate any issues to responsible parties.
- Analyze operational data and on-site conditions to investigate root causes of issues and work with site teams to develop and implement improvement plans.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying needs, resolving issues, and proposing process optimizations for data center operations.
- Prepare regular reports on the operational status of each data center location and monitor the progress of improvement actions.
- Support new site launches by overseeing server deployment and delivering on-site training to operations staff in alignment with business expansion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the highest levels of safety, compliance, and service quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 10 years of driving experience with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis and office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong learning agility, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a strong service mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including shifts; able to perform well under pressure.
- Previous experience in data center or large-scale facility management is strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of, or a keen interest in, blockchain technology is a plus.
