The Infrastructure Engineering Manager is responsible for the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of both the organization’s endpoint ecosystem and core infrastructure platforms, including on-prem and cloud-based servers. This role drives automation, security, and scalability across endpoint devices and server environments using modern management, monitoring, and configuration tools. The Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for endpoint lifecycle management, server administration, and infrastructure reliability, ensuring a consistent, secure, and high-performing technology environment.
This role partners closely with security, network, and support teams to support business operations and growth.
Leadership/Management
- Lead and manage the Endpoint and Server Engineering team, setting priorities aligned to enterprise IT strategy
- Own standards, baselines, and configurations across endpoints and server environments (on-prem and cloud)
- Drive consistency across environments by eliminating non-standard configurations across devices and infrastructure
- Oversee lifecycle management for devices and server infrastructure, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and decommissioning
- Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Security teams to reduce incidents through proactive engineering improvements
- Define and track KPIs (device compliance, patching cadence, system uptime, infrastructure health, deployment success rates)
- Manage vendor relationships related to endpoint, server, cloud, and infrastructure platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain endpoint management solutions (Intune, Autopilot, MDM/MAM) and server/infrastructure management solutions (on-prem and cloud)
- Build and maintain configuration standards, policies, and compliance frameworks across endpoints and servers
- Automate provisioning, application deployment, patching, and configuration management for devices and infrastructure
- Lead standardization of device builds and server configurations, reducing manual or one-off deployments
- Integrate endpoint and server environments with identity (Entra /Azure AD), security, and access management platforms
- Partner with security teams to enforce compliance, vulnerability management, and threat protection across endpoints and servers
- Standardize and support application deployment and lifecycle management across endpoints and server-hosted applications/services
- Lead root cause analysis for endpoint and infrastructure incidents and contribute to PIRs
- Continuously evaluate and optimize performance, reliability, and user experience across endpoint and server environments
- Define and execute the endpoint and infrastructure engineering roadmap aligned with IT and security strategy
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, self-service, and platform standardization
- Evaluate emerging technologies across endpoint management and server/cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with leadership to support scalability, performance, and business continuity
- Drive adoption of modern management practices, including cloud-first infrastructure, zero touch deployment, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, device management, or enterprise IT infrastructure.
- 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Strong experience with: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, Windows and macOS endpoint management, Azure AD / Entra identity integration, JAMF /Apple device management

Device provisioning (Autopilot or equivalent), Endpoint security and compliance (Defender, MDM policies, conditional access), Application packaging and deployment, Managing Windows and/or Linux server environments (on-premises and cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS), Server patching, monitoring, and performance management tools, Supporting core enterprise services (Active Directory, DNS, file services, application hosting), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams administration - Strong understanding of: ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management), Endpoint lifecycle management and asset standards, Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or equivalent), Infrastructure automation (Power Shell, scripting, or infrastructure‑as‑code tools)
