Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Sr Network Engineers to support new infrastructure projects for a retail customer's Network Datacenter team. Support would include some travel to Austin, otherwise 3 days per week on site in Coppell, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues (L2/L3 support)
- Configure and maintain Cisco network security and access solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance
- Monitor network systems and proactively address performance or security concerns
- Provide documentation and support for network configurations and changes

- 5+ years of experience working with data center specific network project work
- Experience creating rules with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)
- Cisco Meraki solutions (wireless, switching, and security)
- Experience supporting enterprise-level network environments
- Hands‑on experience configuring, managing, and supporting Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs)
- Ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers of the network stack
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)
- Experience in large-scale or multi-site environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
