PurposeThis role will serve as a Senior Manager in the Technology Governance Office, focusing on metrics monitoring, reporting and tracking. This Senior Manager leads a team responsible for the strategic oversight of technology metrics, ensuring robust monitoring and reporting processes. This role drives data‑informed decision‑making across the Global Wealth Management and Global Banking and Markets technology organizations and partners with senior leadership to align technology performance with business objectives.
Contribute to the overall success of Technology for Global Banking and Markets by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do- Set the vision and strategy for technology metrics monitoring and reporting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor the reporting analyst, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with teams responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, scorecards, and report frameworks.
- Partner with IT, business leaders, and executive stakeholders to identify reporting needs and drive actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations to keep the department within risk tolerance.
- Engage technology application owners for remediation, as required.
- Evaluate and implement new analytics tools and technologies to improve reporting efficiency and quality.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive committees.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities and decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration) preferred. - 7+ years of experience in technology analytics, reporting, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and large‑scale reporting initiatives.
- Expertise in data visualization, analytics platforms, and data governance.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights for senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Demonstratable experience with reporting and analytics.
- Significant experience with IT within a financial institution.
- Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
