Role OverviewThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join AWS. In this role you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route
53, S3). - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent.
- 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR.
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync.
