We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with 5-7 years of software solution development and data engineering experience. The role requires proficiency with Microsoft Azure services and building large-scale data pipelines.

• Act as Technical Lead in Data Engineering, demonstrating proven expertise in the required skills.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for the data domain, collaborating with business to author self‑service data products.
• Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to implement data strategy.
• Design and build reusable, scalable, and efficient data engineering pipeline frameworks that gracefully recover from failures and facilitate data reprocessing.

• 5-7 years of software solution development using agile and Dev Ops, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
• 5-7 years of data analytics experience using SQL.
• 5-7 years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure), including Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI.
• Experience in development, administration, and support across scripting (Python, Spark, Unix, SQL) and data platforms (Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer). Administration skills a plus.
• Proficiency with Azure Cloud technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, Azure Functions) and CI/CD tools (Git Hub, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Terraform).
• Familiarity with BI analytics tools – Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, Grafana.
• Clear understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance/privacy tools (Informatica Axon, EDC, BigID).
• Experience with data orchestration (Azure Data Factory, Tivoli).
• Optional:
  Airline industry experience.

• Azure Data Factory – 5‑8 years of experience.

Expected range: $60,000 to $135,000, depending on location, experience, and other factors.
