Junior Field Service Technician

Duration: 36+ Months Contract

Location: DFW Airport, TX 75261 Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Field Service Technician to assist with computer deployments, device refresh projects, and onsite end-user support. This role is ideal for someone with basic IT support experience who is eager to develop their technical skills in a hands‑on environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist with computer refresh and device migration projects.
Perform basic troubleshooting of hardware and Windows-related issues.
Provide onsite support to end users during deployments and equipment installations.
Image, configure, and replace computers and peripheral devices.
Update asset inventory and deployment tracking records.
Work closely with the Deskside Support team to complete assigned tasks.
Follow deployment schedules and project timelines.
Move and transport IT equipment as needed.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when assisting users.

Required Qualifications

0–2 years of IT support, deployment, or technical experience.
Basic understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with desktop and laptop setup, installation, and configuration.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with device imaging or computer deployments.
Previous internship, help desk, desktop support, or field service experience.
Basic knowledge of asset management and inventory tracking.
