Overview
Salesforce is seeking a Partner Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer to support our sales teams and Salesforce partners. The role focuses on technical discovery, product demonstrations, and close collaboration with Informatica’s sales and partner teams.
Responsibilities- Coordinate workshops that help partners understand Informatica’s platform and its value within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Lead the full cycle of customer demos, including discovery, technical qualification, presentations, and standard demos.
- Respond to RFI/RFP documents and manage customer and partner engagements independently.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve products and marketing materials.
- Share best practices, content, and tips within the area of responsibility.
- Maintain current certifications for required services.
- Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities such as technical advisories and workshops.
- Provide feedback on product gaps and support demos at marketing and partner events to generate pipeline.
- 5–10 years of experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance.
- 5+ years of presales or technical sales, industry, or consulting experience.
- Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment, data warehousing, databases, or business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with at least one Informatica‑related platform or technology.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills to engage prospects and stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships with influencers, decision makers, and partners.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% and work flexible hours.
- Preferred: knowledge of the top three cloud ecosystems and top two data‑related technologies, plus associated security principles.
- Preferred: certification in at least one cloud ecosystem and one data‑related cloud technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).

CompensationThe typical base salary range for this position is $134,750–$210,910 annually. In California and New York, and select cities in Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range is $148,190–$231,980 per year.
