Job Description

AT&T is seeking a skilled Apache Tomcat Administrator to support and enhance its enterprise web infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Tomcat/Apache installation and configuration, automation tools, and monitoring systems, and will thrive in a SAFe Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server across multiple environments.
  • Manage and optimize Jenkins and Ansible Tower for configuration and deployment automation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a SAFe Agile framework to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and availability using Nagios and Splunk, and proactively address issues.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of web applications hosted on Tomcat.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

and Requirements
  • Proven experience installing and configuring Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.
  • Hands‑on experience with Jenkins and Ansible Tower for configuration management.
  • Professional experience working within a SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios and Splunk.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
