Business Systems Analyst, HCM (INF)

Location:

On‑campus, in‑person.

Provide functional, business support and maintenance for People Soft/Oracle HCM v9.2 (Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance), Taleo for talent acquisition and recruiting, and Vector for training compliance. Responsibilities include system configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, business process streamlining, testing, and project management of enterprise‑level technology integrations.

• Configure and analyze supported systems in collaboration with business units to ensure requirements are met.
• Translate business requirements into technical design and work with OIT staff to implement solutions.
• Document business processes and customizations using flowcharts and business process documents.
• Research, replicate, and evaluate HCM end‑user system issues; manage People Soft HR security requests and provide day‑to‑day operational support.
• Provide system testing for new implementations, upgrades, and patches; lead collaboration on process improvement and best‑practice adoption.
• Backup benefits administrator duties, handle daily customer service problems, and resolve payroll, time and labor issues.
• Maintain Taleo recruiting, address integrations, issues, and related workflows; support Vector integration to People Soft HCM.
• Project‑manage technology integrations and solutions at an enterprise level.
• Design system specifications and collaborate with HR functional leads, OIT developers, and staff to develop or modify programs and reports.
• Use People Soft Query, Oracle SQL, Unified Functional Testing, and other tools to generate reports and validate data for HR and campus end users.
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends during system upgrades or when resolving critical issues.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer/Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of three (3) years supporting Human Capital Management systems in a functional or business analyst capacity. Preferred experience with People Soft/Oracle (Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, ePerformance), Taleo, and Vector or similar LMS platforms.
• Skills:
  
  Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication; customer‑service orientation; project management (planning, organization, time management). Proficiency with system maintenance (upgrades, patches), configuration, testing, and end‑user support within an HRIS environment.
• Technical knowledge: PS Query, SQL, Oracle HCM, MS Office, integration tools, and data interfaces (SFTP, API).
• Human‑resources process knowledge: benefits, performance management, recruiting, and compliance training.

Primarily seated for long periods.
