Overview

At Kyndryl we design, build, manage and modernize the mission‑critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. The Client Technical Solutioner role works closely with customers to understand their challenges and provide cutting‑edge technical solutions and services.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate directly with customers to uncover business and technical needs.
  • Craft tailored domain solutions and cost cases for both simple and complex, long‑term opportunities.
  • Support Technical Solutioning and Solutioning Managers during high‑level business and IT discussions.
  • Communicate the business and technical benefits of solutions to decision makers.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary documents and technical insights for persuasive bid submissions.
  • Define winning cost models for deals and lead them to profitability.
  • Participate in contract negotiations up to signature and facilitate a smooth engagement hand‑over.
  • Serve as the primary source of engagement management and solution design within a technical domain.
  • Compile, refine, and own final solution documents and present them professionally.
  • Standardize go‑to‑market pitches across industries to position Kyndryl as a leader.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT service management, IT sourcing, or IT strategy.
  • Expertise with IT organizational models, governance, operating models and IT financing models.
  • Proven ability to design and build technical solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure management, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Consulting or advisory experience providing strategic guidance to customers.
  • Experience designing cloud, hybrid, and integration architectures.
  • Experience supporting sales efforts: preparing sales materials, participating in customer presentations, and contributing to proposal development.
Compensation

U.S. salary range: $150,720 to $286,200 (full‑time). The actual compensation may vary based on geography, job‑related skills, and experience. The range adjusts for part‑time roles and is not below any applicable minimum wage. California: $165,720 to $343,560;
Colorado: $150,720 to $286,200;
New York City: $180,720 to $343,560;
Washington: $165,720 to $314,880;
Washington DC: $165,720 to $314,880. The position is eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program and may include a sales commission plan.
