Job Title

Responsibilities:

• Data Catalog, Quality tools (i.e Alation, Ataccama) administration, configuration and support
• Support Integrating metadata between Alation and external systems
• Support catalog content uploads in Alation developing scripts using APIs
• Support Alation Tableau data integrations and build dashboards, reports to provide analytical information on catalog usage
• Support current data ingestion and computes running on Hadoop
• Support and enhance existing DW/BI, ETL(Informatica), Python platform by applying system solutions.
• Possess proven skills and sound knowledge of ETL/BI processes and best practices and experience with development activities.

Required Skills:

• IT Experiance 8+ years
• 3-5yrs of experience in Alation Enterprise Data catalog system.
• Need an expertise in the alation administration, configuration and troubleshooting on day to day issues
• Expertiese in Data lineage, Data Governance, Risk, compliance, building catalogues (API integrations)
• 5+ years of experience in EDW and BI related technologies
• Ability to design, develop, test, install/implement, modify and maintain Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, stored procedures, macros), database design principles and data administration standards, and information security terminology
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
• Good to have experience in Python, Shell scripting
