Business Analyst

Zip code 75202 (15 minutes north of downtown) Need local phone and in-person interview 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities
  • Agile Facilitation:
    Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration, coordinating across multiple agile teams as needed.
  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs and expectations accurately reflect the deliverables.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage sprints, document decisions, and report progress.
  • Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Backlog Management:
    Translate business requirements into user stories, prioritize them, and maintain a well-organized product backlog.
  • User Testing:
    Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing by identifying and documenting acceptance criteria, writing test cases, determining test scenarios, assisting with execution, and owning processes for Defect Tracking and Change Management.
  • Training & Support:
    Provide training to end-users and ongoing support post-implementation to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes. Work with the Training lead to deliver training materials as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and status reports for stakeholders and project teams.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on resource planning, risk mitigation, and portfolio prioritization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Agile maturity, coaching teams and stakeholders in Agile practices.
  • Act as a servant-leader, removing blockers and enabling teams to deliver value consistently.
  • Shadow and support the IT Solutions Manager on key initiatives, with the potential to step into leadership responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of BA and Agile Program Leadership experience in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
  • Expert in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and M365 Suite: workflow configuration, custom dashboards, reporting, administrative functions, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce platforms (preferably NPSP or CRM) or similar CRM ecosystems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational change management abilities.
  • Agile certifications preferred (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Salesforce platform or implementation knowledge.
  • Experience in a nonprofit or philanthropic organization.
  • Familiarity with IT governance practices or cross-team coordination frameworks.
