Automation Test Lead

Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead to join our team for one of our esteemed clients, based in TX/AZ/NM.

Job Title:

Automation Test Lead (Selenium / Child Support Domain)
Position Type:
Full-Time / Permanent

• Test Authoring & Execution:
  Review, author, and execute manual test cases.
• Automation:
  Script automated test cases using Java or Python.
• Client & Stakeholder
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Participate directly in Client UAT calls.
• Gap Analysis:
  Work closely with Functional SMEs, Senior Developers, and Designers to identify and address functional gaps in the system.

• Domain & Project Experience
• Must-Have:
  Solid State Project Child Support domain background.
• Deep understanding of Child Support business processes and testing methodologies.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle:
  Requirements, Quality Assurance/Testing, overall test management, delivery management, and client support.

• Testing & Methodology Expertise
• Proven experience in both Waterfall and Agile development models.
• Ability to guide teams and recommend testing strategies/frameworks for enterprise systems (including web portals, batch processes, interfaces, forms, and reports).
• Expertise in Test Design & Execution, Test Planning & Strategy, Test Estimation, Performance Testing, Web Services Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination.
• Experience leading and managing large testing teams.
• Technical & Automation Skills
• Selenium experience with Java-based scripting.
• Proficiency with testing and management tools: UFT, JMeter, SoapUI, JAMA, and JIRA.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, X-ray).

• Experience collaborating with Scrum Masters, Functional SMEs, Test Managers, and Developers to translate design requirements into test deliverables.
