Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide infrastructure and application support in a production environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and end-user environments.
- Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change activities through successful resolution.
- Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and related identity services.
- Support Microsoft technologies, VMware virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support production environments.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with engineering, networking, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and platform enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and operational best practices.
- Strong experience administering Microsoft Active Directory in enterprise environments.
- Expertise with VMware vSphere, PowerCLI, and/or vSphere SDKs.
- Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon.
- Strong knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) management.
- Experience with block-level and file-level storage protocols, SAN switching, enterprise storage arrays, and replication technologies.
- Technical understanding of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra Connect (formerly Azure AD Connect).
- Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate management and authentication services.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Power Shell scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity lifecycle management.
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
