Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, documentation, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled procurement systems supporting sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, compliance monitoring, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Translate business requirements into system workflows, prompts, data inputs, validation rules, dashboards, and user procedures.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate, configure, test, and deploy procurement technology solutions.
  • Implement and manage AI-supported contract review processes for supplier agreements, NDAs, amendments, and statements of work.
  • Leverage AI and analytics tools to identify risk patterns, benchmark commercial terms, flag deviations, and elevate issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks for responsible AI use within procurement processes.
  • Establish controls covering approved use cases, data handling, access permissions, human oversight, validation, audit trails, and escalation protocols.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools covering procurement cycle time, supplier performance, contract lifecycle, risk metrics, compliance exceptions, and AI tool performance.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop procurement administration and compliance teams, manage priorities, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Perform other procurement, contracting, compliance, reporting, or administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6-8 years relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, contract administration, compliance, legal operations, procurement technology, data analytics, AI-enabled business tools, or a related function.
  • 3 years of experience leading projects, systems implementations, process improvement initiatives, compliance programs, or cross-functional business transformation work.
  • In-depth knowledge of airline, warehousing or other transportation industry-specific regulations and risk management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AI-enabled tools, contract lifecycle management systems, procurement platforms, data analytics tools, workflow automation tools, or dashboard/reporting solutions.
  • Excellent computer skills including demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CoPilot (or alternate AI engine).
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, technological, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and respond to variability based on organizational needs.
  • Comfortable communicating to all levels of management.
