IT Support Engineer - Needed for Reliable Complex Problem Resolution
Work Type: Full-time, in-office
Compensation:
- Support Engineer I: $50,000 - $70,000 base salary plus incentive bonuses
- Support Engineer II: $70,000 - $100,000 base salary plus incentive bonuses

Interested? Here is what you will be doing:
- Providing exceptional client experience as the first interaction a client has when they reach out to Velo for assistance
- Troubleshooting quick fix issues with clients including user access, network, and application support
- Communicating with clients via phone, email, and messaging to resolve requests
- Supporting client IT infrastructure by responding to alerts and alarms to manage the IT environment proactively
- Working with Senior Engineers to advance your knowledge, skillset, and capabilities
- Providing white‑glove onsite client support for issues that require hands‑on resolution, delivery of equipment, and new user orientations
- Escalating issues to Senior Engineers when necessary for timely resolution (Support Engineer I)
- Assisting and mentoring early‑career Engineers and helping them develop their skillsets, problem solving, and career development (Support Engineer II)

Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience servicing clients in a technical environment required
- Strong understanding of Windows, Windows Server OS, and Active Directory/Azure AD will be required for success.
- Skills and certifications related to Cisco networking, Microsoft 365 Administration, VMware, and Azure are preferred
- Strong IT fundamentals are required with focuses on understanding of DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 systems
- Support Engineer I: 1-2 years of experience in IT technical support required (or commensurate educational experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, MIS, or related fields)
- Support Engineer II: 5+ years of experience in IT technical support required
