Job Overview

Responsible for the review, analysis, and execution of the processes that support the IT security function to ensure the safety of IT assets; and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Tasks related to this process may include, but are not limited to, managing user accounts, managing network access, monitoring systems for security events, and troubleshooting security issues.

Gathers security requirements from other IT staff and end users, implements security actions and procedures to meet their needs. Ensures users understand and comply with the policies and procedures to maintain IT security. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of IT security required. Serves as first level support of non-routine and major events and incidents by identifying, evaluating, and troubleshooting these events.

Responds to telephone calls and email requests for security support. Provides management with status reports. Researches new technology and procedures to support the IT security process. Able to perform most phases of work but may require instruction and guidance for some phases of IT security. Safeguards physical access to Exchange restricted data, processes and services.

• Four years of experience in maintaining computer systems identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in maintaining computer systems identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.

• 24x7 work environment supporting Exchange operations, which requires either shift work, on call, and/or after hours project work and may include holidays, and weekends
