Senior Analytics Engineer

Dallas, TX (4 days/week in office)

$145,000 to $160,00 base salary + 10% bonus

A well-established, financially strong organization in the financial services sector is building a brand-new data function from the ground up. This is a rare greenfield opportunity — the team is standing up a modern data platform from day one, and you ll help define modeling standards and transformation architecture rather than work within someone else s framework.

We re looking for an Analytics Engineer with strong DBT and Snowflake expertise to lead the transformation and modeling layer of a new enterprise data platform, initially supporting a market risk use case with plans to expand across fraud, treasury, and beyond.

• Design and build data models within DBT — staging, intermediate, and mart layers
• Own transformation logic and modeling standards within Snowflake
• Build and maintain testing frameworks to ensure data quality and reliability
• Manage incremental models and optimize DAG performance as the platform scales
• Partner closely with analysts and data engineers to translate business requirements into robust data models
• Contribute to the build-out of enterprise-wide data management frameworks and standards
• Leverage AI/automation to accelerate model development and testing

• Hands-on production experience with DBT and Snowflake
• Experience managing incremental models, testing strategy, and DAG optimization
• Working understanding of Terraform and CI/CD within a modern data stack (usage-level, not infrastructure design)
• Comfort operating across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• A "builder" mentality — someone who wants to build a platform from scratch, not maintain an existing one
