Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology organization, is seeking an experienced NOC Manager to join their team in Fort Worth, TX! This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a 24x7 operations center that supports critical infrastructure, network, and data center environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong NOC/IOC leadership experience, a focus on operational excellence, and a passion for building high-performing teams and reliable monitoring processes.

Experience of the right candidate:

  • Experience in NOC, IOC, infrastructure operations, reliability engineering, or similar environments
  • Experience leading technical operations teams
  • Strong background managing 24x7 monitoring and incident response functions
  • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of networking, Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and data center operations
  • Experience with Service Now or other ITSM platforms
  • Proven ability to improve operational processes, service reliability, and team performance
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • MUST HAVE experience managing a NOC or IOC team

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for monitoring critical infrastructure and services
  • Oversee incident response, escalation management, and operational support processes
  • Track and improve key operational metrics related to service reliability and performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance system availability and operational efficiency
  • Establish monitoring standards, alerting strategies, and operational best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and tooling enhancements
  • Review operational trends and identify opportunities to reduce recurring issues
  • Manage documentation, runbooks, and escalation procedures
  • Support major incident events and serve as an escalation point when needed
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, performance management, and team growth
