Platform Engineer

This role owns the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. The engineer will build and maintain IaC pipelines using CDK and Terraform, manage container workloads on EKS/ECS, and lead or support migrations from on‑prem or ECS environments to EKS. Day‑to‑day work spans CI/CD pipeline management, configuration automation, networking and security architecture, and ensuring systems are observable through monitoring and logging tooling.

• Hands‑on AWS expertise: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Cloud Formation, IAM
• Azure experience:
  Subscriptions, VMs, networking – Infrastructure as Code proficiency with both AWS CDK (Type Script or Python) and Terraform
• Experience with container orchestration — EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes
  
  – Experience with
  on‑prem or ECS to EKS migration
• CI/CD pipeline experience:
  Git Hub Actions, Argo CD, or AWS Code Pipeline
• Scripting/programming in at least one of:
  Python, Bash, or Type Script
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles

• Configuration management with Ansible
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools:
  Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
