About the Opportunity

A leading Fortune 500 IT Company is seeking experienced Server Build Technicians professionals to support enterprise-scale data center operations. These positions are responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical server infrastructure in a fast-paced cloud and hosting environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy hands‑on work with enterprise hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure while supporting mission‑critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rack, cable, configure, and deploy enterprise Intel and AMD servers.
  • Install and configure Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures involving memory, storage, power, and networking components.
  • Execute server provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning activities.
  • Manage support tickets while meeting service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve customer-impacting issues.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and validation of newly deployed equipment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, installations, and maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in data center operations, server deployment, or infrastructure support.
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise server architecture and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with Linux, Windows Server, and system provisioning.
  • Solid understanding of networking technologies including switching, cabling, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience leading technical projects and supporting critical production environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in hyperscale, cloud, or enterprise hosting environments.
  • Industry certifications such as Comptia, Server+, Network+, CCNA, RHCSA, or equivalent.
  • Experience with automation, provisioning systems, and infrastructure management tools.
