User Experience Designer in Dallas, Texas

UX Designer

Optomi, in partnership with an industry-leading organization, is seeking a UX Designer to join an innovation-focused incubation team dedicated to transforming internal business operations through modern technology and AI. This role will work within a highly collaborative Agile environment focused on rapid experimentation, fast iteration, and creating intuitive user experiences for internal web applications. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity, enjoys collaborating directly with end users, and can quickly translate ideas into interactive prototypes that drive product decisions.

Location:

Remote (local to Richardson, TX preferred for onsite on an as needed basis)

Type: 6 Month Contract (W2 Only)

Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card holder

Required Qualifications:

• Strong UX Design experience.
• Experience designing web applications and dashboards.
• Ability to rapidly prototype concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Comfortable conducting user conversations and usability discussions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile product teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong experience designing intuitive user experiences for web-based applications.
• Experience creating rapid prototypes to communicate ideas and validate concepts.
• Comfortable facilitating conversations with users, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience with Figma and other prototyping platforms (Builder.io, Copilot, Replit, or similar tools preferred).
• Ability to thrive in an Agile environment with evolving requirements and minimal documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with in Commercial Real Estate or other enterprise operations environments.
• Experience with modern AI prototyping tools beyond Figma.
• Exposure to UX research methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive user experiences for internal web applications and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop rapid interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate functionality.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, UX Researchers, and Subject Matter Experts to solve complex workflow challenges.
• Present prototypes to stakeholders and end users, gather feedback, and quickly iterate on solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate the design process.
• Support user research activities and incorporate user insights into product designs.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure designs clearly communicate functionality, workflows, and technical requirements.
• Help improve internal operational processes through thoughtful UX and AI-enabled solutions.
