This role drives UX transformation and establishes scalable design frameworks across multiple touchpoints while providing strategic guidance to the UX team.

Scope of Work Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive stakeholders, in partnership with product, to translate business challenges into actionable UX strategies
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to UX team members
  • Establish and evangelize design standards and best practices across the organization
  • Lead quarterly PI planning activities from a UX perspective, ensuring alignment between experience strategy and product roadmaps
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment meetings where business needs require clarification and translation into experience requirements
  • Drive UX maturity advancement across product organization
Sprint‑Level Activities
  • Participate in PI planning sessions and sprint planning as strategic advisor

Key Deliverables Quarterly (PI‑aligned)
  • Strategic UX roadmaps aligned with product PI objectives
  • Service design frameworks and experience blueprints for major initiatives
  • Executive stakeholder presentations demonstrating business impact and design science (articulating design reasoning)
  • UX team objectives and success metrics for upcoming PI
  • Quarterly success metrics reports with measurable outcomes (before/after metrics required)
Sprint‑level
  • Strategic design direction and feedback on team deliverables
  • Stakeholder alignment documentation
  • Design governance decisions and standards updates
  • Cross‑team design pattern recommendations
As Needed

  • Proven experience with complex, data‑intensive, multi‑layer business processes in digital environments
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within highly governed organizations
  • Track record of working within 3rd party platform constraints and low‑code/no‑code environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy at executive level
Portfolio Requirements
  • Systems thinking:
End‑to‑end service design across multiple touchpoints
  • Strategic frameworks and transformation work (not just UI deliverables)
  • Measurable business outcomes with detailed metrics (specific numbers in before/after model, not just "cost reduction" or "revenue increase")
  • Examples of work within restrictive platforms or highly governed environments (understanding that proprietary work may limit shareable examples)
Core Competencies
  • Enterprise UX and UX transformation experience
  • Information architecture at system portfolio level
  • Service design and workflow design expertise
  • Stakeholder management at C‑suite level
  • Ability to "air drop" into complex situations and quickly structure solutions
