This role is Hybrid 2 days/week in Dallas - Las Colinas area.

Position Summary:

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives across cloud and on-premise environments within a large enterprise IT organization supporting the auto-finance sector. This role partners closely with engineering, architecture, product, cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of strategic technology programs. The TPM ensures alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance processes while driving execution from initiation through deployment and operational handoff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects, defining scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria while managing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work streams across engineering, architecture, Dev Ops, infrastructure, QA, security, and vendor partners to drive cloud initiatives leveraging AWS and/or Azure.
  • Interpret architecture diagrams, integrations, system dependencies, and technical constraints to inform project decisions and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, cloud standards, and security practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and governance requirements including emerging AI and data privacy standards.
  • Lead change control, production readiness reviews, deployment planning, production releases, post-implementation validation, and operational handoffs.
  • Facilitate key project ceremonies (kickoffs, standups, retrospectives, dependency reviews, status updates) and provide clear reporting using dashboards, KPIs, and PMO tools.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leaders while ensuring operational teams receive adequate documentation, training, and transition support.
  • Perform additional duties assigned to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications and

Competencies:
  • Strong technical aptitude with understanding of cloud architecture, systems integration, and core infrastructure components.
  • Experience delivering technology projects across hybrid cloud ecosystems (AWS and/or Azure) using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Familiarity with application development, data platforms, networking, security, and integration technologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, and MS Project.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical delivery plans.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex technical or IT projects.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale technology projects across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Hands-on experience driving cloud initiatives in AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience working in large, highly governed enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience in financial services, lending, or auto-finance preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., data privacy, security, compliance) is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience combined with relevant technical expertise may be considered.
Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of security standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to manage risks, dependencies, financial tracking, and resource forecasting.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage technical discussions with architects, engineers, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Commitment to staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud modernization.
