Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

You will lead the architecture and delivery of hybrid integration solutions across on‑prem and cloud platforms using iPaaS and traditional ESB technologies. The role spans integration strategy, reference architecture, governance, and hands-on enablement to accelerate digital programs (ERP modernization, SaaS adoption, API-led connectivity, event-driven integration

Define integration strategy and reference architectures for hybrid estates (on-prem, private/public cloud).

Select patterns (API-led, event-driven, messaging, B2B/EDI, streaming) and align to enterprise standards, scalability, security, and cost.

Create roadmaps for modernization from legacy ESB to iPaaS while ensuring business continuity.

Platform Ownership (Hands-on on any one or more iPaaS platforms listed below)

Mule Soft:
Hands-on experience with iPaaS and integration platforms example in Mule Soft

Boomi:
Design Atom/Atom Sphere topology, implement integrations, manage Molecule clustering, deploy APIs, Boomi Flow, and connectors (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, etc.).

web Methods:
Architect Integration Server, API Gateway, Microservices Runtime, B2B/Trading Networks (EDI/X12/EDIFACT), and optimize Universal Messaging.

IBM:
Design with App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, IBM MQ/Kafka, enforce policies, and set up gateway topologies & lifecycle.

Establish Dev Ops pipelines (Git, CI/CD, automated testing), environment promotion, observability (logs, metrics, traces).



Roles & Responsibilities

Define API governance, versioning, documentation (OpenAPI), throttling, and SLA management.

Implement Zero Trust controls, OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, secrets management, and data protection (PII masking, tokenization).

Standardize integration patterns, coding guidelines, and design review process.

Delivery & Enablement

Lead solution design for programs (ERP/SAP, CRM, HCM, finance) and integration blueprints per domain.

Drive capacity planning, cost optimization, and license/utilization management across platforms.

Mentor engineers; run guilds/CoE; deliver POCs and performance tuning; resolve production incidents.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with enterprise architects, security, infra/cloud, and application teams.

Translate business requirements into integration epics; articulate trade-offs and TCO.

Support presales/RFPs with solution proposals and effort estimates.

Core iPaaS / ESB

Boomi Atom Sphere (Integrations, API Mgmt, Flow, Boomi Molecule/Atom), error handling, retry, distributed deployment.

Software AG web Methods (Integration Server, API Gateway, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging), ESB patterns, B2B/EDI.

IBM Integration:
App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, IBM MQ, ACE node design, policy enforcement.

Architecture &am p;
Patterns

API-led connectivity, microservices integration, synchronous/asynchronous patterns.

Event-driven architectures (Kafka/MQ), pub/sub, CQRS, saga, idempotency.

B2B/EDI (X12/EDIFACT), partner onboarding, mapping, compliance.

Cloud & Platform

AWS/Azure/GCP services for integration (VPC, Private Link/Peering, LB, Secrets, KMS).

Containerization & Orchestration:
Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).

Networking: VPC design, routing, NAT, firewall, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) basics.

Dev Ops & Quality

CI/CD (Git Hub Actions/Jenkins/Azure Dev Ops), automated tests, static checks.

Observability:
Grafana/Prometheus, ELK/Open Search, distributed tracing (Open Telemetry).

Performance engineering: throughput, latency, back-pressure, resilience testing.

Security & Compliance

OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, SAML, mTLS; WAF, rate limiting, API policies.

Data privacy & compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS where relevant).

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

Executive communication, solution storytelling, stakeholder alignment.

Salary Range
: $140,000-$180,000 a year.
