We are looking for a GIS Architect to design and support enterprise GIS architecture, with strong experience in spatial databases, infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across GIS technology, databases, cloud/infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture while working with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements:- Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise GIS architecture.
- Strong knowledge of spatial databases and RDBMS technologies, including:
- Experience with GIS servers, networking, load balancing, storage, and infrastructure.
- Understanding of security architecture, governance, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture governance.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Design and maintain enterprise GIS architecture and technical solutions.
- Define architecture for spatial databases, GIS servers, networking, storage, and integrations.
- Evaluate and optimize GIS database and infrastructure performance.
- Support GIS security, governance, DR, and business continuity requirements.
- Work with technical teams to ensure GIS solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Support Agile delivery, SDLC activities, architecture reviews, and technical documentation.
- RDBMS , Oracle, SQL Server
