What you will be doing:As a Technical Project Specialist at Spectra Corp, you will play a key role in supporting client-facing initiatives and internal project execution. This position blends technical aptitude, operational coordination, and relationship management, acting as a bridge between program management and internal delivery teams.
We're looking for candidates with a networking background who are interested in applying their technical knowledge in a consultative role. In this role you won’t be building or managing networks day-to-day. Instead, you’ll work with healthcare organizations to review their planned network upgrades, understand how proposed equipment fits within the network architecture and help determine what may qualify for government funding.
You will manage customer deliverables to ensure we gather all necessary information to successfully complete their subsidy filings.
- Support client-facing activities through technical aptitude and understanding of service solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation and data across internal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate implementation activities to support smooth project execution from start to finish
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery
- Clearly communicate project status, milestones, and timelines to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, including WAN and LAN topology, to understand what a proposed network upgrade involves.
- Working knowledge of common network equipment categories (routers, switches, firewalls, WAPs) and connectivity types (dedicated internet access, MPLS, fiber, point-to-point circuits)
- Ability to conduct professional informed conversations with client IT and network staff to clarify technical scope, understand proposed solutions, and evaluate them accurately; this role does not require designing the solutions.
- Detail-oriented, organized self-starter able to manage multiple work streams
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a focus on MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, self-direction, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication skills including written, oral, and face-to-face presentation skills.
- Commitment to learn the Rural Healthcare Program (RHCP) rules and process.
- A keen eye for detail and precision to track, update the database and stay on top of multiple projects.
- Experience working in Quick Base or an equivalent relational database environment.
- Candidates must currently reside in the DFW area and be able to attend the office as required.
- This is a full-time position with benefits. Standard workdays are Monday
