We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Techno-Functional Consultant to support a high-impact enterprise financial transformation initiative within a complex retail environment.

This is a high-level consulting role for someone who combines deep accounting/finance expertise, D365 F&O implementation experience, technology knowledge, business-process understanding, and executive-level communication.

• Advise CFOs, Controllers, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, and business-process assessments
• Assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state solutions
• Lead D365 F&O Finance design and implementation
• Provide expertise across GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Forecasting, Revenue Recognition, Intercompany, Consolidation, Tax, and Financial Reporting
• Lead fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, UAT, and go-live readiness
• Partner with architects, developers, integration, data, Power Platform, Fabric, Power BI, and retail technology teams
• Support data migration, master-data governance, and enterprise integrations
• Present recommendations, risks, and solution strategies to executive leadership
• Mentor consultants and contribute to long-term solution/practice development

• 10+ years in Accounting, Finance, ERP Consulting, or related experience
• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations
• Multiple full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementations
• Strong corporate and retail finance/accounting knowledge
• Experience with financial close, consolidation, treasury, budgeting/forecasting, fixed assets, revenue recognition, and financial controls
• Strong business-process analysis and consulting experience
• Proven ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders
• Ability to bridge business, finance, functional, and technical teams
• Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance

, not a heads-down developer or back-office functional analyst.

This is a variable-travel hybrid role
, not a fixed 2-days-onsite schedule. Dallas is the preferred base, with travel to Houston and potentially other locations based on project needs. Travel expenses are covered.
