DevOps Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops / Site Reliability Engineer to support the automation, reliability, and continuous delivery of our technology environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, database technologies, and Dev Ops security and integration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Lab CI, with a preference for strong Git Lab CI experience.
• Manage and support Linux-based environments using command-line tools and shell scripting.
• Automate operational and deployment tasks using Shell scripting and other appropriate tools.
• Build, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Deploy and support applications running in Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate Dev Ops pipelines with tools such as Sonar Qube, Black Duck, and Hashi Corp Vault.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and assist with troubleshooting reliability issues.
• Work with MongoDB and Oracle databases to support application and operational requirements.
• Write and execute Oracle SQL queries, ranging from basic to more complex SELECT statements.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Follow Dev Ops and Site Reliability Engineering best practices to improve system availability and deployment efficiency.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate processes and improve operational reliability.

Qualifications:

• Strong professional experience in a Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• Hands-on experience with Linux command line and shell scripting.
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Lab CI; strong Git Lab CI experience preferred.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and Oracle Database.
• Ability to write and execute Oracle SQL queries, including simple and complex SELECT statements.
• Experience integrating CI/CD workflows with Sonar Qube, Black Duck, and Vault.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software development and deployment lifecycle practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
